Melissa - Babysitter

 

 

Melissa is a sophomore in high school, a typical bubbly girl. She has lots of friends and enjoys spending her free time chatting on her new cell phone. Her parents had only agreed to buy her the phone for the purpose of emergency family calls and also if she found a job. Being the determined girl she is, Melissa set out to find a decent paying job in order to fulfill her promise to her parents. It was not very long before she landed a sweet babysitting gig with the Wellingtons, who just recently won the lottery. Melissa is a very hardworking girl despite her socialite demeanor. She receives top grades in her classes and is committed to become the very best she can be. On her spare time, Melissa enjoys reading romance novels and daydreaming about meeting “The One”, talking on the phone with her best girlfriends and gossiping about their classmates, and beating her last record on the track field.

Rosie - Baby

 

 

Baby Rosie is a nine-month-old baby of a newly wealthy family who just recently won the lottery. She is a very happy infant, given what her parents can now provide for her . Due to her parents' dedication and natural expertise in parenting skills, she is growing to become a very curious and intelligent baby. Her occupation generally consists of exploring her environment and stacking her alphabet blocks.

Blaine - Kidnapper

 

 

Blaine is a low-class thief known for petty thievery and pick pocketing. Although intelligent and hungry for a “big score”, he is physically incapable of carrying out his desired plans. As a dough kneader at a local bakery, Blaine spends his nights kneading dough whilst hashing out plans for the days ahead. He first meets Victor at the bakery and takes him under his wing teaching him all the rules and tricks in the world of robbery and deceit. With Victor under his command, he has better chances of achieving his goals. Nights on end, Blaine goes through the local daily newspapers searching for anything that can give him an easy path to riches. He loves a challenge and wants to be more than just a petty thief.

Victor - Kidnapper

 

 

Victor has always been clumsy as well as a slow-learner. He dropped out of high school, in the ninth grade, and ended up working at his uncle’s bakery where he is responsible for maintenance - sweeping the floors and cleaning the toilets. All alone, with no company, Victor finds a friend in Blaine who teaches him everything about the world of thievery. Victor is excited to finally be part of something and not be judged by his incompetence and physical awkwardness.

Katherine & Sam Wellington - Mother & Father

 

 

Sam and Catherine met in their last year of college together. They both had average upbringings – fairly well off parents, nice homes in small neighborhoods outside the city. She fell in love with his goofy, carefree demeanor, and he loved making her laugh. They got married shortly after taking some time to travel together after college, then settling down and starting their careers. Not long after, they became pregnant with their first child, Rosie; they were so excited to become parents. Just recently, the two won the lottery for 50 million dollars. They bought their dream home and decided to continue to live modestly until they decide what to do with their winnings.
